✷ INSPIRED BY…
The bustling dancehalls, smoky jazz clubs, and juke joints of post-war Britain. DW Fairfield draws influence from litho-printed gig posters, hand-painted signage, and the golden age of rock ’n’ roll design.
The name of the font comes from The Fairfield Halls in Croydon, England, where I grew up, and where my Great Grandad, Thomas J. Pyper, was the first General Manager. He welcomed acts such as The Beatles, Bill Haley and the Comets and many more to the venue, and his name lives on with The Fairfield Halls today.
Whether you're creating something nostalgic or looking to add a human touch to your design, this font brings real character to the stage.
✷ PERFECT FOR…
Vintage-style branding
Retro music artwork
Posters & flyers
Coffee shops & cocktail menus
Barbershops, vinyl shops & lifestyle brands with a throwback twist
